Choi's recall into the military. On the one hand, I'm glad that he is able to serve; a job that he has throughly enjoyed. But on the other hand, I can't help but wonder if by returning to active duty, will Lt. Choi be allowed to continue his protesting against DADT? Or will that be a condition of his reinstatement to the military, that he has to keep his mouth shut about DADT? And as Bryan mentioned, why only Lt. Choi? He's not the only soldier affected by this idiotic policy. I guess time will tell.

MarcusAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-587902609826926070.post-70221950335355301772010-02-09T22:28:03.402-08:002010-02-09T22:28:03.402-08:00I'm also curious if this is some kind of metho...I'm also curious if this is some kind of method of silencing Choi at this time of serious debate, or if it is a move in the opposite direction, away from DADT. But... regardless of the political motives, I think Michael is right in saying we should support Choi if he is ready to return to active duty. This is a form of what those who are fighting in opposition of DADT are asking for, isn't it? The right to serve openly gay?

We should be proud of him.canadianhumilityhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17765821265373068860noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-587902609826926070.post-18717235241947365892010-02-09T20:40:58.145-08:002010-02-09T20:40:58.145-08:00I agree. It is up to others to continue to pressure the politicians to do the right thing.Michael Hardinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09610160406709197670noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-587902609826926070.post-79017534418869038442010-02-09T12:24:28.336-08:002010-02-09T12:24:28.336-08:00Hmmmm I also wonder if they have done this to shut...Hmmmm I also wonder if they have done this to shut him up.

I mean he has definately told so don't the rules say he has to go?orangegoblin82https://www.blogger.com/profile/02965643202623903623noreply@blogger.com
